REMINDER INFORMATION: FOR NATIONAL CLASS ASSOCIATIONS AND TEAMS COMPETING AT 420 WORLDS

The countdown to the 2017 420 World Championships continues as Fremantle, Australia awaits the arrival of 420 Class sailors from around the world.

With separate racing fleets for Open, Ladies and the U17 division - the 420 World Championships embraces all levels of competition.

ONLINE ENTRY - online entry is open and each National Class Association has been sent their individual login details to complete online entry, which is at http://2017worlds.420sailing.org/en/default/races/race-inscription-multiplayer 

The entry fee is EUR300 and all entries and entry fee payments shall be made by 26 November 2017. From 26 November onwards, the increased entry fee of EUR375 applies and entries will be subject to Class approval.

Provisional entry information so far indicates well over 100 teams from 18 nations.

The entry quotas for the 2017 420 World Championships have been removed, so there is no restriction on the number of teams a nation may enter. Read the amendment to the Notice of Race.

SHIPPING - please be reminded that you should ensure your containers arrive at Fremantle port by 10 December at the latest, preferably earlier, to ensure there is sufficient time to clear the boats through customs and delivered to Fremantle Sailing Club. WARM-UP EVENT - the 2017/18 420 Class Australian Championships are taking place from 20-23 December at Fremantle Sailing Club, as a perfect warm-up event to the Worlds with 9 races scheduled. All international teams are invited, and earlybird entry is until 19 November 2017 at a rate of AUS$400 per boat. Late entries will be charged an additional AUS$100.
